​​SNAANA’s Apricot oil is obtained from the kernels (seeds) of the Apricot fruit through the cold-pressed method. Cold-pressed is better as it does not alter the natural chemical compounds that are already present in the oil. It can be used both as a cosmetic and edible.

This oil has a deep nutty flavor which also makes it an excellent ingredient for desserts and other recipes.
At SNAANA we source the seed from Himalayan towns. A kilogram of seeds contains about 250 grams of oil.

How to use

Apply on skin - It is easy to apply as it quickly spreads on the skin and soothes irritated skin. A massage with Chullu Oil is good for dry, parched skin. One can use it after a shower to seal the moisture into the skin.

Apply on skin around eyes - Apricot oil can be applied for healing under-eye skin. It reduces dark circles, and puffiness and helps to strengthen the skin around the eyes. Take 2-3 drops of this oil and gently apply it on the skin around the eyes, which also helps in reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Hair care use - Chullu Oil is also great for hair care. When applied on hair and scalp, it helps detangle hair. Use this oil daily before showering to reduce dry scalp problems, hair fall, and loss of shine in hair. Take 2-3 drops of Chullu Oil and apply on the hair once daily.

Body Massage oil - Apricot kernel oil is one of the best carrier oils for massage. It penetrates nicely into the skin and also improves the delivery of essential oils and other herbal agents. Take a few drops of this oil and gently massage your body once a day.

Add flavor & nutrition to Food & beverages - Add flavor, aroma & nutrition to smoothies, salads and chutney. Use in Drops only. Do not heat the oil, use it raw in cooked or ready to eat dishes.

Pain Relief Oil -Use it as a regular area specific massage oil to destress tissues & muscles and relieve stiffness & aches in the body.

Precaution

It may/may not suit oily acne-prone skin. It is suitable to apply on normal to dry skin types. Do a patch test when using the product for the first time.

Always apply on a moist face/hand & feet/ body for the best-desired results.

Do not cook with cold-pressed Chullu Oil (chuli oil). Add it to your cooked or raw recipes ready to eat. Excess is bad. Do not eat/apply the oil if you are allergic to almonds.

Care for the product

Always store the oil in a cool and dry place. The oil is good to use for a year from the date of cold pressing.
