Are we just waiting for this a live-able ecosystem to suffocate us to death? Indeed, we are. Know how you can contribute to preserve the nature.
Despite United Nations each year undertaking many steps through their Environment Programmes to aware us of consequences of growing plastic waste, increased industrial and transport pollution, growing pesticide usage in agriculture and much more, still we do not make a move to preserve our earth , our mother nature.
It is the time to wake up before it’s too late. And these little steps can help contribute in the process of preserving the nature.
1. Say No to Plastic
Plastic whether virgin or recycled is a plastic and certainly has huge concerns on its disposability. Over the years plastic packaging has become so widespread that its usage from skin care to laundry to house cleaning to food/eatables to drinking water has become quiet usual only because of being cheap (cost-effective), break free and of course the factor of convenience attached to plastic . And so subsequently over the years many of the diseases have been found to be the result of increased usage of plastic. Plastic is bad not only for humans but also very bad for our environment. Disposability of plastic is a major concern and so increased usage of plastic is killing our earth, our mother nature. So carrying a bag each time we step out of the house and rejecting the food items, skin care products, household cleaning products, toys & decorative items made of plastics should be our priority as an aware living creature on the earth.
2. Say no to Perfume/fragrance
Fragrances/perfume /parfum are bad for human beings. With each spray we play havoc with our nervous system and disrupt the normal hormone functioning. Babies in the growing age are affected the most instead of using chemical based product we can choose organic skin care products for our babies. Many studies have proved the consequences of using perfume/fragrance and so does regulators have accepted the fact but stronger regulations to completely wipe them from skin care products, household cleaning products to various deodorisers used in washroom, bus, metro, cab is yet to take place. These perfume/fragrances are made synthetically and have reportedly caused major health concerns to individuals. So it is very important that we grow up to understand that these synthetics are bad and start shifting ourselves to products with no fragrances/flavours. All this is difficult as we have been used to parfums/fragrance for years now but a move can help many to overcome headache, migrane, sneezing, distorted decision making, hormonal disorders and many more depending upon the individual body constitution. A early call to stay away from fragrances/flavours will help both humans and of course our environment.
Plastic and fragrance are both the products of 21st century. If we could do without these two harmful product/ingredients till some 30-40 years back then why do we need them now? Plastic and fragrances are slow poison killing both humans and earth. So let us wake up and take a pledge to make these little contributions for our well-being and our mother nature.
